What if you could save the world one burger at a time? It could all be possible thanks to the revolutionary disposable food packaging from Slovenian design student Michal Marko.
Marko designed 100% biodegrable food packaging which contains seeds. Essentially, one could enjoy a burger or pizza then turn the garbage (biodegrable packaging) into an herb garden. Genius, no?
Here's how it would work: After eating, pull the seeds from under the label and plant them in the disposable bowl along with some soil. After a week, plant the entire packaging in the ground. After some time the packaging will degrade, leaving being a lovely herb.
We're totally excited about this sustainable food packaging and eager to see it go mainstream. Do you think it'll be a hit?
