You can always expect great things from legendary French chef Jacques Pépin and his latest cookbook is no exception. Titled Heart & Soul in the Kitchen, the cookbook offers a glimpse of what it is like to sit down at the table with the world renown chef.
Pépin shares a total of 200 delicious recipes he prepares for friends and family. You'll be seduced by the low-key yet delicious dinners he prepares for his wife, elegant desserts and colorful anecdotes about his time working with the late Julia Child. The chef also shares tips for helping children eat anything and everything. What parent wouldn't love that?
Mouthwatering dishes include chocolate soufflés, pistachio-crusted Camembert and an effortless but stunning apple galette made with pizza crust (pictured below). There are also plenty of grilled recipes and seafood dishes perfect for relaxed entertaining.

Jacques Pépin's Heart & Soul in the Kitchen serves as a companion cookbook to the chef's PBS series by the same name. The book is scheduled for release October 6th and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
