The Canadian chef Ben Ing has been announced as the new head chef at Noma and he will str the gig in January as he gets set to replace the restaurant’s current chef de cuisine Daniel Giusti.
Ing, who originally comes from Ottawa, has worked at Eleven Madison Park and has spent the past year working at Noma.
In a tweet, the chef said: “Thank you everyone for all the love & support! Couldn't have done it without the team.” While Rene Redzepi joked that it should be great to have a Hockey loving Canadian as a new head chef.
Daniel Giusti has done a big interview with Washington Post about how he wants to focus his energy towards changing school lunches in America.
