With some clever editing the rather dark television series, staring Mads Mikkelsen, is twisted into a cooking comp in which Hannibal is tasked with cooking for a line up of celebrity judges.
The show has a strong food theme running throughout with chef Jose Andres working as a consultant to plan all the meals cooked by the lead character.
