The egg box we all know and love is undergoing somewhat of a makeover with this Hexagonal offering from the Portuguese design student Gil Rodrigues.
The design is a hexagonal shapes that made up of six individual triangles that can be rolled out flat.
The design doesn't use any glue to hold and instead employs a system of cardboard grooves that fit simply together.
Each cash can also double up as an egg cup with a few simple folds and the whole packaging can be flat packed for easy disposal.
An egg-cellent idea.
