For the voyeuristic and truly obsessed. What’s your favourite celeb’s favourite food? Coolspotters has the answer.
Paris Hilton is crazy about Rice Krispies and Nutella. Don’t dare take Lady Gaga’s tomatoes away. Don’t touch Madonna’s fruit Mentos, and don’t be surprised if two impressive physiques of the caliber of Cristiano Ronaldo and Mickey Rourke still have the childish habit of licking lollipops.
For these and other juicy tidbits of gossip about the stars of cinema, music and also business (the same Gates, Ellison and Jobs have been immortalized in various snaps) there’s a user-generated website called Coolspotters which notes the tastes and consumption habits of VIPs from all over the world. Their whims are posted, immortalized and shared.
It’s the users who flag up what the latest celebrity fads are: all you have to do is register, create a profile, and then upload photos of your favorite celeb together with whatever product they’re tucking into (usually food, but it could also be a tech product, or a brand of clothing). The result is a user-generated encyclopedia where you can find a list of the various manias of celebrities. To be copied or condemned.
