Police are hunting for a man with a Russian accent who they believe stole over $300,000 worth of walnuts.
Business Insider reports that the nut robbery took place in Northern California after two lorries, both containing over 40,000 pounds of nuts, did not arrive at their intended destination.
The authorities in the state say they'd like to speak with a 6-foot-2, 198-pound white male with a heavy Russian accent.
It's not the first time that food has gone missing on a large scale. Just last month ago some thieves got away with around $30 million dollars worth of maple syrup in Quebec.
If there's a connection between the two, we could be looking at the world's biggest walnut maple pie recipe.
