Can two brothers who are successful chefs play nice in the kitchen? Find out in this fun video from Taste Talks Brooklyn, an event sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna which features chef mashups and recipe collaborations.
Taste Talks Brooklyn brought together Max Sussman from The Cleveland and Eli Sussman from Mile End Deli, both of whom are known for creating flavorful dishes laced with Middle Eastern spices. Recently, the dynamic duo got together in East River State Park to cook up their unique take on chicken kebab, a popular New York City street food.
So what was it like to collaborate together? "We definitely fight a lot more when we are in the kitchen because we both want to be in charge,'' Max Sussman explained. However, Eli added, ''the collaboration is definitely there and I think there are imprints of each other sometimes in our food.''
