For Italians, eating together is the most intimate act of sharing. Aside from the food, people gather together to interact, communicate and, of course, to entertain themselves. In order to make this happen you should carefully plan where your guests are going to sit. If different groups of people are invited, make sure that they’re going to make new friends by seating them next to someone they don’t know. And don’t forget to alternate between men and women.
