New three-starred Michelin restaurants are rare, diamonds of the gastronomy world, but today with the publication of the Michelin Nordic Cities guide for 2016 we can welcome not one but two new restaurants that now boast the highest possible accolade from the French guide book.
These are; the Geranium restaurant in Denmark, run by chef Rasmus Kofoed and the Maaemo restaurant in Norway, run by chef Esben Holmboe Bang.
It’s extremely rare to see two new three-starred restaurants released in the same guide and although they’re from different cities, Copenhagen and Oslo respectively, it seems like a great occasion to take a closer look at each place with a few dish shots and a peek inside the restaurants.
Our new five-part video series, 'The Secrets of Fine Dining', brings you incredible tips and tricks, straight from the chef’s kitchen, to level up your fine-dining cooking techniques and plating skills. Take a look.
