The limited edition banana is called Gokusen and are apparently a far superior banana thanks to the way they’re grown high above sea level. The bananas are apparently a product of selecting the best qualities from over 100 other varieties of banana. The limited edition fruits are the highest quality picks from the Gokusen variety and each weigh around 200 grams, cheap when compared to the $26,000 paid for two Japanese melons back in 2012.
