To prepare the Irish potato soup first fry the potaotes and the onions in the hot butter.
Quench with the stock, season with salt, cover and simmer for approx. 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
Finally add the milk and puree.
Fry the bread cubes in the hot butter until golden brown.
Serve the Irish potato soup in bowls with the croutons on top and season with nutmeg.
