Le Mirazur, ranked best restaurant in the world in 2019 by The World's 50 Best Restaurants, is getting a makeover. During the lockdown, Mauro Colagreco and his wife Julia Colagreco took the opportunity to re-model the interiors of the French Riviera restaurant, which enjoys breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
But that's not all. Beyond the decor, the Mirazur menu will also get a facelift. Whilst the specific details of the new menu are still under wraps, Julia revealed the cryptic new concept of the restaurant to Nice Matin newspaper.
"We want to work with the influence of the Moon on Earth, in a biodynamic logic. We will therefore offer four different menus for each moon: around the fruit, the leaf, the root and the flower. using all the energy from the food," she said.
As for the new health protocols following the reopening, the restaurant is ready to go. "We prepared for it in advance by observing what our colleagues were doing in the world. We especially needed time because we are pushing the concept a little further," she said.
Mirazur will re-open on June 12 when all will be revealed.
