When chef Merlin Labron-Johnson made the move from London to the small town of Bruton in Somerset, few would have expected his Osip restaurant to become such a huge draw. But since Osip launched at the beginning of the pandemic, it has won a Michelin star, and a raft of plaudits from diners and critics alike. With 90% of its ingredients sourced from the restaurant's own farm, the menu has the immediacy and creativity that goes with cooking whatever produce is available on any given day.
Take a look at this selection of images of Merlin Labron-Johnson's garden, his Old Pharmacy bistro (next door to Osip), Osip restaurant itself and some of its delicious dishes.
