Everyone has their own superstitions when it comes to making the perfect cup of tea. Should you put the milk first or should you add the water? Should you stir the bag or leave it to float? The biggest question, how long should you brew the bag for?
This cute little infographic from Utility Journal sets out to standardize the amount of time each tea should be brewed for. White tea should leave the cup first with just 1-2 minutes brewing time where as the perfect black tea should brew for 2-3 minutes.
The longest brew time comes from herbal teas which take 3-6 to properly infuse during brewing.
