Spring 2023 will see Dominique Crenn of San Francisco's three-Michelin-star Atelier Crenn open her first restaurant in France. Named Golden Poppy, it will be located in the new Fantaisie hotel at 24 rue Cadet, in Paris' ninth arrondissement.
On the plate, the Breton woman promises to return "to her young years in France and her love for California, which conveys open and sharing values [and] reactivates the link between the table and nature."

Inside, the Leitmotiv hotel group has bet on Martin Brudnizki Design Studio to imagine – as these renders show – bucolically charming interiors, with soothing colours such as soft greens, solar yellows and a few touches of coral. Le Fantaisie will also include a Poppy Café and a rooftop bar, whose culinary offerings will also be signed by Crenn.
Camille Saint-M'leux is the winner of the French Regional Final of S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition 2022-23. He will now go on to represent France at the Grand Finale.
