A neon sign that simply says BAR glows above an unassuming brick facade in the Arts District. Behind it, LYNX offers a proposition that seems straightforward: pizza and cocktails. But this first impression belies a far more deliberate project. The restaurant has developed a style of pizza that feels both familiar and entirely new. Its dough achieves a thin, crisp exterior that gives way to an airy, tender crumb. This unique texture, described as weightless yet very satisfying, is the result of a process designed backward from the bite itself. This thoughtful philosophy extends to everything that emerges from the kitchen. Toppings are balanced and refined. The kitchen has become known for a memorable pie with guanciale, soppressata, and pepperoni, finished with a drizzle of black and white truffle honey. Another creation that has defined the restaurant is covered in a dense layer of grilled and shaved raw mushrooms with stracciatella and mascarpone. Even a seemingly simple mushroom pizza becomes an exercise in texture and presentation, arriving as an impressive pile of paper-thin fungi and Parmesan. The streamlined carte, which has gained recognition from the Michelin Guide, is a study in focus. The beverage program is built with the same intention. Anchoring the intimate room with its exposed wood beams and deep crimson walls, the bar is central to the LYNX identity.
