The coronavirus lockdowns have shuttered restaurants and kept people confined to their homes for months. Lovers of fine dining could be forgiven for forgetting what it’s like to eat in their favourite restaurants with family and friends. But as the lockdown restrictions are gradually lifted, what do they think about returning to restaurants? The Fine Dining Lovers Coronavirus Survey for Diners sought the opinions of a diverse sample of gastronomes and gourmands for an insight into dining habits during the pandemic and beyond. What did they miss most about eating out? Did they use delivery or takeaway during lockdown? And what will persuade them to dine out again? This video provides a taste of what diners really think.
