World's 50 Best Restaurants are back! The event, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, will once again return to London but this time with a new summer ceremony. The 13th annual World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards takes place at London’s Guildhall: the announcement of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list has become one of the most highly anticipated moments of the culinary calendar with the best chefs in the world all in attendance to hear exactly which restaurant will be at the top.
French chef Hélène Darroze has already been picked as the Veuve Clicquot World’s Best Female Chef in the world ahead of the announcement of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, and Daniel Boulud won the Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 2014 René Redzepi's Noma was once again at the top of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants (here you find the full list), with Roca Brothers from El Celler de Can Roca restaurant at the second place and Massimo Bottura's Osteria Francescana at the third place. The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List for 2014 featured also the Brazilian chef Helena Rizzoas The Veuve Clicquot World’s Best Female Chef. UK's chef Fergus Henderson received the Lifetime Achievement Award 2014 .
