The Rise of Sorghum
In recent years, there has been a renaissance of long forgotten grains. Sorghum is one of the grains making a comeback all thanks to the huge gluten-free trend.
A native of Africa, this pseudo-cereal is grown across South America and the United States. While not suitable for making breads, per se, it makes a great addition to salads and risotto-like dishes.
Thanksgiving at the Movies
We celebrated Thanksgiving with a special tribute to the films that portray this special time of the year.
Hollywood has a special way of captivating the charm of Thanksgiving - from Woody Allen's Hannah and Her Sisters to the indie film Pieces of April - the blend of food, drama and personal relationships is ever so fascinating.
