This week at Fine Dining Lovers we kicked things off by announcing the winner of the 2016 S.Pellegrino Young Chef award.

Mitch Lienhard, who cooks at Manresa in Los Gatos, California, was crowned the winner of the prestigious competition which featured competitors from all over the world. His dish of roast duck with spiced oranges and yams wowed the international jury of judges that included chefs Elena Arzak, Wylie Dufresne and Carlo Cracco.
