Big Chefs in The Big Apple

This week on Fine Dining Lovers we brought you a report direct from Identita Golose in New York.

We had a great collection of pictures and quotes from some of the chefs at the event which saw culinary workshops, discussions and dining events take place inside the famous Eataly venue.

Mario Batali, Davide Scabin, Massimo Bottura and Alain Ducasse are just some of the chefs we spoke to in the big apple to get their opinions on food and cooking.

10 Freaky Halloween Foods

With Halloween getting close we decided to take a look at some of the freakiest foods in the world.

Boiled eggs containing unhatched fetuses, blood clams and the spooky looking sea cucumber we gathered 10 of the most spooky foods around.

If you're looking for some Halloween recipe inspiration this is the ingredient list to consult before you cook anything.

The Perfect Dish

You've never seen fondue presented like this -  an exclusive recipe from Teresa Buongiorno, chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant Osteria Già Sotto L'Arco restaurant in Italy.

Buongiorno cooked a  flan of wild cardoons on a fondue of Caciocavallo Podolico cheese, a truly magical dish and one prepared exclusively for FDL.

There's a video of the dish being made and a recipe to try for yourself at home.

In the Blog

We brought you a look at the new food documentary Spinning Plates, the news that Juli Soler will need to step down from his job as director of the elBulli Foundation and a great recipe for pulled pork sandwiches.
