This week we took a foodie tour of Barcelona, discovered cocktail recipes from The Great Gatsby and interviewed the team behind the Fat & Furious Burger blog.

What To Eat in Barcelona

We kicked off the week with a delightful culinary tour of Barcelona, one of Spain's most entertaining cities. Sitting right on the Mediterranean Sea, Barcelona is simply a seafood lover's delight.

Our trip began in Barri Gòtic where we stopped for a bit at La Colmena, a pastry shop that has been around for a century. After indulging in sweets we proceeded to discover wonderful cheese and chocolate shops.

A Toast To The Great Gatsby

From Spain we went on to celebrate the new film version of The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival.

Based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald the film is set in America during the 1920s and features an intriguing tale of a life of excess and doomed love.

In honor of The Great Gatbsy, we took a look at the popular cocktails of the era. We found classic recipes for Gin Rickey, Sidecar, Martini, Mint Julep and the Gimlet - all of which you'll find here.

Fat and Furious Burgers

All that traveling stirred our appetite so we made a pit stop to interview Thomas and Quentin, the talent behind the Fat & Furious Burger blog.

Thomas and Quentin are friends with a passion for creating the most bizarre burgers out there. When do they do it? During their lunch breaks.

Check out some of their amazing creations but be warned: you will get hungry.
