GOOD EATS IN VANCOUVER

This week at Fine Dining Lovers we kicked things off with a not-so-ordinary foodie tour of Vancouver.

Writer Amie Watson finds herself amidst a field of watercress and from there takes us on an incredible journey of the city's best eats - everything from organic greens and artisanal hummus to where to find the freshest fish and the best sake.

Join Amie on her culinary tour of this famous city by reading her first-person account.

THE SCIENCE OF SPICY FOOD

From delicious Vancouver we went on to study the science of spicy food.

Our curious minds needed answers to common questions: Why does our tongue burn when we eat chili-spiked food? How come some people have a higher tolerantes for spice? What makes chilies so hot?

Find the answers to these and other culinary conundrums in this spicy article.

FAMOUS SPAGHETTI EATERS

Finally, we finished off the week with a tongue-in-cheek story about famous people eating spaghetti.

Our picture gallery of singers, actors, artists and super models eating spaghetti was inspired by this famous quote from Sofia Loren: ''Everything you see, I owe to spaghetti.''

Take a look to see famous faces like Monica Bellucci, Lady Gaga, Danny DeVito and more enjoying this iconic Italian dish.
