AN ITALIAN IN HONG KONG

This week at Fine Dining Lovers we kicked things off with a nice chat with Alessandro Cozzolino, the 25-year old Italian chef de cuisine at Hong Kong's legendary Grissini restaurant.

Located at the Grand Hyatt, the restaurant offers guests stunning views of Victoria Harbour and an original Italian menu highlighting Cozzolino's Southern Italian heritage.

In an exclusive interview the young chef revealed his inspiration and the challenges of bringing a taste of the Mediterranean to his corner of Asia.

A LOOK INSIDE BENU

From Hong Kong we shifted our attention to San Francisco where celebrated chef Corey Lee creates stunning modern Asian dishes at his three Michelin-starred restaurant Benu.

Lee, whose first cookbook is out this month, is considered one of the best chefs not just in America but the world. The French Laundry-trained chef offered a behind-the-scenes look at his restaurant and discussed his food memories and inspiration for his book.
