Argentine Steaks

This week at Fine Dining Lovers we kicked off 2018 with a special trip to Argentina where we chatted with restaurateur and sommelier Pablo Rivero.

Rivero works at the Buenos Aires restaurant Don Julio, which ranked 13th in Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017 list, and shared his favorite cuts of Argentine beef with us.

Check out our guide to common cuts of Argentine beef.

Oriol's Thrills

Next up was an exclusive interview with renown pastry chef Oriol Castro, who has worked with the likes of Ferran Adrià.

Castro will mentor young chef David Andrés, the finalist from the Spain and Portugal region who will participate in the prestigious S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 competition.

Castro spoke to FDL about creativity, teamwork and the advice he gives young chefs.
