India's Spice Paradise: A Tasty Revenge
The week began with a trip to Jodhpur, a city in the north Indian region of Rajastan. Renown for its palaces and royal history, Jodhpur is also home to another jewel: Rekha Sharma, a woman who runs Spice Paradise.
In a region where it is rare for women to be at the helm of any business, Rekha not only runs the tiny spice shop with her husband but she also teaches tourists how to cook Indian dishes. Life hasn't always been easy for Rekha but her story definitely serves as an inspiration.

The master himself accompanied us around the exhibit twice - the first round was to introduce us to the more than 30,000 artifacts from his acclaimed restaurant, the second time around was to enjoy and let it all sink in.
It was a searing hot day in Barcelona but the excitement of Ferran was contagious. We look forward to all the great things to come from the man who topped the World's 50 Best Restaurants list five times.
Alex Atala: ''Brazilian Food For a New Citizenship''
From Barcelona we switched gears to catch up with Alex Atala, Brazil's most famous chef. Atala's restaurant D.O.M. is fourth on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list and with good reason: Alex is passionate about incorporating Brazil's native foods into the menu.
In an exclusive video interview with FDL, the chef talked about the different Amazonian ingredients he likes to cook with. Alex is particularly fond of an ingredient called priprioca, which he uses in exclusive recipes like the one he most recently shared with us.
