City Tasting Tour

This week on Fine Dining Lovers we started with a trip to the beautiful city of Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam.

While there we compiled one of our City Tasting Tours looking at some of the best food and drink spots to visit in the city.

From Bánh xèo and Bun Thai dishes to some of the very interesting drinks on offer  and the many local informal restaurants called Quans, this is a look at an exciting food destinations and is sure to point you in the right direction for some interesting flavors.

The Best Coffee in Rome

Moving on from Ho Chi Minh we travelled to the capital of Rome in search of the best cappuccino in the city.

From the very small bar of Bar del Cappuccino to Caffe Camerino a place that roasts it's own beans and the king of Roman coffee houses Tazza d’Oro.

If you're heading to the Italian capital and you want to taste some of the best brews this guide is a great starting point.

The Lúcuma Fruit

Nearing the end of the week we carried on with our international travels we headed to Peru to try the Lúcuma Fruit - a sweet tasting fruit that actually tastes like caramel.

We looked at where this wonderful fruit is grown, some of it's many uses from being  crème brulée to the vegetarian fine dining restaurants in Peru that uses the fruit with quinoa to make a jellyroll cake and more.

We also brought you our very own FDL recipe for Lucuma-Maple Ice Cream - a simple dessert that shows off the wonderful flavor and texture of this interesting fruit.
