Rene Redzepi tops The World's 50 Best Restaurants List 2012, we meet the Female chef causing quite a stir and an info graph on eating habits around the world

The World's 50 Best Restaurants List 2012
This week saw Fine Dining Lovers attend The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2012 to find out which restaurants around the world would make the list. We were in London to bring you a live stream of the event and to interview all the chefs as they arrived on the red carpet.

Rene Redzepi form the Copenhagen restaurant Noma took top spot on the list for a third year consecutively thanking his team who have been with him from the start and expressing what an impact the list has had on the Nordic dining scene.

We met with Ferran Adria who told us all about his plans to open a new restaurant in London and on top of all the great videos and live blogging we brought you The World's 50 Best Restaurants - The Social Story - A look at the event through the eyes of the chefs, journalists and people lucky enough to get a seat in London's Guildhall.

We also looked at the after-party and a special chefs lunch held for all the winners the day after the event. It was a truly special evening and it was great to see so many community members getting involved and watching the live stream from home. To top off the coverage their was some reactions from Rene Redzepi just minutes after receiving his award and we also found beautifully designed info graph that brought together some interesting facts and figures from the restaurants that made the list.

A Touch of Pink
This week FDL travelled to Switzerland to meet with Maryline Nozahic: The French born chef of the charming little restaurant, La Table de Mary in Vugelles-la-Mothe, a village close the French border.

We had a great QnA with the Maryline who was voted Chef of the Year 2012 in the Gault Millau guide at the S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino event and spoke with her about her food, here kitchen philosophy and her experiences as a female chef.

Maryline also offered some useful advise for other female chefs starting out on their career.

In the Blog
We looked at a Jelly Bean Mosaic, an art project involving a giant dinner table, a great info graph on what people eat and a lovely recipe for sweet and spicy Tom Yum Soup.
