New German Cuisine

This week on Fine Dining Lovers we took a trip to Germany to meet with the interesting chef Joachim Wissler.

Wissler runs the Vendôme restaurant, 12th on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and widely regarded as the best restaurant in Germany.

We discussed the chef’s work and found out exactly what is meant by ‘new German cuisine’ - a term often attached to Wissler’s cooking style.

Budapest Tasting Tour

From Germany we travelled to the hearty home of Budapest for a tasty tour of some of the best places to eat in the city.

From the cuddly dishes of goulash and deep fried pastries, to traditional poppy-seed caked and smoked meats.

The guide also offers up a nice tip on the best market to visit for a taste of traditional food in Budapest.
