Christmas Cuisine

This week on Fine Dining Lovers we celebrated Christmas in style with a mix of festive stories and guides to help you have the perfect day.

We took a closer look at Scandinavian Christmas history with some of the food traditions practiced in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

You may be surprised to realise that many of the Western Christmas traditions originate in Scandinavia.

There was also a tasty festive guide that’s still worth a look - if only for the great picture.

Books of the Year

We also took a look at some of the best food books of 2014, a perfect round up if you’re still looking for some interesting reads to add to your library.

There’s eight different suggestions on the list and they’re well worth a look.

French Soul, Italian Style

Another highlight of the week was an interview with Annie Feolde, owner of the Enoteca Pinchiorri restaurant in Florence.

Feolde was born in France and was the first woman in Italy to gain three Michelin stars - she spoke with us about her interesting career and what she believes the future of fine dining restaurants will be.
