Kenya's Secret Super Food
This week we took a look at a unique ingredient from Kenya which is a fermented yogurt milk called Mursik. 
We asked the question as to whether or not this hugh energy food could actually hold the key to Kenyan athletes success in Olympic running events and examined exactly how it's made.
Mursik is a food that's steeped in tradition and on top of a look at it's link to Kenyan culture we also presented a video on exactly how it's made.  
Communist Cuisine
From Kenya to Stalin's codified food cannon, we interviewed the author of a USSR food memoir Anya Von Bremzen. 
Called Mastering the Art of Soviet Cooking: a Memoir of Food and Longing, Bremzen's book is a look at dishes from Russian cuisine and how communism effected the development of food throughout the Soviet Union. 
It's an interesting look at the era through a food lens including a menu served by Stalin to Churchill and Roosevelt at the 1945 Yalta Conference. 
Talking Turkey 
Did you know that Turkey was actually introduced to royal tables after Columbus made his voyage to America? 
This week we looked at this nutritious bird ahead of Thanksgiving celebrations in the U.S. and offered up 26 interesting facts you probably don't know about the highly nutritious meat.
