Vegan Food Has Never Looked so Good
This week on Fine Dining Lovers we took a look at some of the best plates of food we've ever seen.

Created by the Italian chef Simone Salvini the dishes express the natural beauty of ingredients and show the world that healthy vegan foods can look and taste delicious.

FDL spoke with the chef about his food philosophy, his cookbook Cucina Vegana and Salvini shared some of his best dishes for what has to be the sexiest selection of vegan food pictures on the web.

It's all a Matter of Perspective
This week saw the launch of the third lesson in FDL's Mobile Food Photography series. So far we've looked at the rise of food photography, the importance of lighting and this week we examined perspective and color - two great facets to consider when trying to improve your mobile food pictures.

There was a focus on textures and when to get close to your food with the camera and some valuable lessons on how to use perspective when trying to show food in the best possible way.

There was also the very important lesson that sometimes the camera should be left while food is eaten and enjoyed!

Melbourne City Tasting Tour
Melbourne is a cultural hot spot in Australia - it's seen rise to great music, art and design and in line with this the city has a bustling food landscape.

This week FDL took a closer look at Melbourne and some of the best food spots the city has to offer.

From some of the wonderful food markets to the best places to get a real cup of coffee down under - this Melbourne City Tasting Tour will keep you busy for hours if you're keen to hunt out some of the best places Melbourne has to offer.

There was also some great tips for after hours fun and a picture gallery to show everyone just how beautiful the city is.

We heard from Ferran Adria on his views that informal dining is now the strong trend in the industry,  Michelin guides in Italy and Chicago for 2013 were announced and Rene Redzepi revealed that it was a meal at the Arzak restaurant that led him to devote his life to cooking.
