Pop-up on a Plane 

This week on Fine Dining Lovers we took a flight on one of the world’s first ever pop-up restaurants on a plane as chef Andreas Caminda cooked for 200 passengers.

We also used the occasion to look at some interesting developments in the field on neurogastronomy and how the use of light and sound may play an important role in the future of in flight food.

An Interview with Brooks Headley 

From dining in the sky we took a trip to meet with the pastry chef Brooks Headley from the Del Posto restaurant in New York.

Headley has an unconventional approach to pastry and he explained how he aims to be small, direct and exciting when created new desserts. “Why present a heavy dessert full of cream and chocolate after a long demanding meal?”
