This year's edition of Taste of Milano food festival has just closed, and we've already focused on the mouthwathering dishes the 12 famous chefs prepared. Today, we'll have a closer look at the foodies who gathered in Milan to enjoy a "record" event:
- 68.000 dishes were served during the four day festival
- More than 100.000 forks and knives were used
- More than 15.000 glasses of wine were served by professional sommeliers in the four wine bars set up at the festival
- 1.400 people participated in the wine tastings and lessons offered by the Wine & Spirits Academy, a group of expert sommeliers ASPI coordinated by Giuseppe Vaccarini, wine ambassador
And there is something more: this year the Italian edition of "Taste" will return to Rome, from 20th to 23rd of September at Auditorium Parco della Musica. Stay tuned, we'll share all the information with you as soon as we get it!
