FDL visited New York Fashion week looking for food connections in the world of fashion

New York’s Autumn-winter catwalk just opened the shining tourbillon month of International Fashion Weeks.

London, Milan and Paris will follow. To check out the connection between fashion & food, we interviewed stylists, buyers and journalists attending the fashion shows, asking them a few FDL questions. 

Our aim was to ask fashion people – often considered to have that trend setter attitude – some of their special tips, habits and food association. Their answers will surprise you. 

Did you ever expect that Marc Jacobs’s style is seen by some as a succulent homemade lasagna? Or that Diane von Fustemberg’s collections can be mentally associated with a chic hamburger, to be eaten with the hands?
