Kylie Bean's Artisan Brunch: Art is Served

The London based designer's 'Artisan Brunch' project is a series of artistic installations inspired by the aesthetic universe of famous artists.

If some great artists invited you to brunch, how would you imagine it to be?

Yayoi Kusama, Alexander Calder, Salvador Dalì, Damien Hirst and Cornelia ParkerKylie Bean pays homage to these great artists in his Artisan Brunch project.

The London based artist and designer takes inspiration from their well-known artworks to make a series of still life pictures for Kinfolk Magazine, in collaboration with food stylist Lucy-Ruth Hathaway and photographer Aaron Tilley.

To build up his "brunch installations" Kylie Bean uses the iconic elements of brunch (avocado, eggs, sausages, ketchup, bread…) to compose a series of sculptures based on the iconic style of each one of these artists.

The result is a number of pictures that will make you crave brunch and remind you that art can be everywhere, even in the way you serve bacon and eggs.
