Anne-Sophie Taurines is the SPYC 2016 Switzerland Finalist
Following the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 final for Switzerland on 27 June, Anne-Sophie Taurines has been announced as the regional winner and will represent the region at the Grand Final in October in Milan.
10 young semi–finalists from restaurants within Switzerland, selected by ALMA, competed in the head–to–head live cooking competition where they presented their signature dishes to a local jury of four renowned chefs.
André Jaeger, Martin Dalasass, Lorenzo Albrici and Robert Speth tasted each of the signature dishes prepared by the semi–finalists, but it was Anne-Sophie Taurines' dish of marinated and hay-smoked salmon, garden vegetables, rocket/green apple/ginger sauces, condiments and flowers that stood out.
Taurines will now step up to the ultimate challenge, presenting her dish to the top international jury at the Grand Final in Milan in October. In the meantime she will have time to perfect her dish under the watchful eye of her mentor, André Jaeger.
