How to prepare the Swedish Glogg recipe, the traditionale Scandinavian red mulled wine to be enjoyed very hot: the perfect drink for Christmas and winter.

To prepare the Swedish glogg recipe put the red wine into a pan with the cardamom, cinnamon stick and cloves and heat slowly until the wine is almost boiling.
Reduce the heat, add the raisins and almonds to the wine and allow to infuse over a very low heat for about 15 minutes, but do not let it boil.
Then remove the cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom if you wish.
Put the sugar cubes into a small pan and pour the brandy over them.
Then light the brandy with a long match and slowly melt the sugar.
Pour into the mulled wine.
Pour the Glögg into punch glasses with the raisins and almonds and serve immediately.
