Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and gently fry the onion until translucent.
Add the garlic and chilli and cook for 2 minutes.
Put the onion mixture with the tofu and sweetcorn in a food processor and pulse until you have a coarse mixture.
Season with salt and pepper and shape into burgers.
Heat the remaining oil in a wide pan and fry the burgers gently for about 4 minutes each side.
Serve in the buns with lettuce, tomatoes and ketchup.
