Try this easy sandwich, perfect for a brunch or an afternoon English tea: the traditional cucumber sandwich, made with only four ingredients but very tasty!

Cut the crusts off two slices of bread. Spread each slice with salted butter.
Arrange very thinly sliced cucumber rounds on one piece of bread, then sprinkle with a bit of ground pepper.
Place the other slice of bread on top, and then cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge.
Remove just prior to eating.
