How to Make Oat scones recipe with goji berries
To prepare oat scones recipe first preheat the oven to 190°C (170° fan).
Line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Combine the flours, baking powder, salt, sugar, and rolled oats in a large mixing bowl, stirring to mix.
Whisk together the butter, egg, and buttermilk in a measuring jug.
Add to the dry ingredients and mix well to make a moist batter.
Add two-thirds of the goji berries and stir well to combine.
Place a metal ring mold on the baking tray and spoon the batter into it, pressing down with the back of a wet tablespoon.
Repeat until you have 12.
Brush the tops of the unbaked oat scones with warmed honey.
Bake for about 20 minutes until browned and set.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool on the tray before moving to a wire rack.
Top the oat scones with the remaining goji berries before serving.
