An easy chickpea recipe, perfect if you're looking for a vegetarian appetizer: chickpea puree with crackers and herb cream cheese

For the chickpea puree, place the chickpeas, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and one teaspoon of the paprika in a food processor and pulse to make a coarse puree. Season with salt and pepper and place in a serving bowl. Scatter over the remaining paprika and the snipped chives.
For the herb cream cheese, beat together the cream cheese, yoghurt and chopped herbs and season with salt and pepper.
Serve the chickpea puree and herb cream cheese with the zucchini and crackers.
