Storage Container | Nodahoro

Storage container made with glazed glass burnt in very high temperature by Nodahoro (Tokyo).

This product does not get rusty easily and is strong against no chemical reactions, and thus the strong smell doesn't remain inside the kettle. Although many companies have moved their manifacturing base to foreign countries in order to lower the production cost, Nodahoro continues making their products by hand inside Japan. This container makes so many things possible for cook-lovers: it holds heat during winter, but it cools food down during summer. The container can also be heated up with gas. This is possible only with this special glass glaze.

This is part of 'Made in Japan Cooking Tools': a gallery of traditional Japanese food items, collected by HUGE magazine and shown at this year's Milano Design Week.
