Tom Jenkins is a London-based journalist and food lover, who became immersed in the world of high gastronomy when he joined Fine Dining Lovers in 2016. The job has taken him all over the world and instilled in him an unending curiosity in cuisines and peoples. He has also watched as his home city has become one of the world's top dining destinations and is a cheerleader for everything the UK has to offer gastronomically. Tom is particularly interested in how the food community can come together to make great food more accessible for all, as well as the boundless creativity of the world's top kitchens. His favourite eating cities include Barcelona, Los Angeles and Bangkok, and he has written for the likes of Vice, CNN, the Independent and The Telegraph during his career. He will eat just about anything, apart from jellied eels – "the worst."
