Meet the Toast Artist: Sasaki Manami
For many of us, toast is the first meal of the day. Easy to prepare and pleasing to eat, it is always ready to satisfy our palates and represents the simplicity of our tastes.
But for Sasaki Manani, a Japanese artist and designer, toast is much more than breakfast.
Sasaki's toast has become the canvas upon which he creates his works of art. Using jellies, jams and butter as 'paint', Sasaki creates real pieces of art that draw inspiration from some of the greatest artists and designers, all inspired by the Japanese tradition.
Let’s meet Sasaki Manani and have a closer look.
