Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants: The Best Restaurants' Dishes
This year’s Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants was a compilation of previous versions since the event’s inception in 2013. It was a celebration of the region's dynamic and creative restaurant industry, with Lima's Central, by chefs Virgilio Martínez and Pía León, recognised as the best of the decade in Latin America, followed by Maido (also in Peru), D.O.M. (Brazil), Astrid y Gastón (Peru) and Pujol (Mexico), among the top five.
Other restaurants recognised as the top ten (of a total of 100) in Latin America were Boragó, Santiago, Chile; Maní, São Paulo, Brazil; Quintonil, Ciudad de México, México; Tegui, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Don Julio, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here’s a selection of dishes from the best restaurants in Latin America.
