Food Shoppers 'Elsewhere', a project by Alexis Ftakas

Italian photographer Alexis Ftakas is fascinated by the migrant experience of being living between two cultures. Born in Bologna of Greek origin, it’s an experience he can relate to. The result is Altrove (meaning 'Elsewhere'), a photographic study of the foreign food shops visited by nostalgic immigrants in Milan. Read the interview!
