Considered akin to the Oscars for the culinary world, the S.Pellegrino’s World’s 50 Best Restaurants has been generating excitement and controversy, discovery and diversity throughout global gastronomy for almost a decade.
Both the Top 100 ranking and Top 50 “shortlist” are compiled thanks to the opinion and input of over 800 expert voters – an international “academy” comprised of chefs, food critics and industry leaders – who, together, cast more than 4,000 votes on restaurants from 27 different worldwide regions.
The year of vote-casting culminates in a uniquely memorable, invitation-only evening on April 18th at London’s Guildhall, when the rankings will be announced at a ceremony that has become one of the annual highlights on the worldwide culinary scene. This truly international gathering gives chefs and their teams a chance to meet, exchange ideas and enjoy the company of their colleagues from around the world – along with members of the S.Pellegrino “Academy”, industry insiders, food critics and passionate gourmands.
And starting this year, fine dining lovers from anywhere in the world can view the entire event in live streaming here. This is your exclusive chance to be a part of this unique event that is a celebration of fine dining and a tribute to fine dining lovers everywhere.
