Welcome in the New Year at the Taste of Tasmania 2015/16

Tasmania’s most popular and established summer event, The Taste of Tasmania, returns to Hobart’s waterfront from 28 December to 3 January 2016 for its 27th year.

Over 250,000 foodies and New Year's revellers are expected to attend the event held in a stunning location against the backdrop of the majestic River Derwent, Hobart’s historic wharves and Salamanca Place.

The annual celebration of Tasmanian produce will include local seafood, cheeses, berries,  famous cool-climate wines, boutique beers and ciders along with an exciting line up of entertainment to help foodies welcome in the New Year.

Special tasting trails have been designed for the sweet-toothed, the seafood lover and the whisky connoisseur amongst many others. Artisanal food and drink producers will offer tastings and showcase their local produce to visitors.
